Why does mould grow on food?

Moulds grow on food because the food is certainly gone bad. By letting people know it's gone bad, it starts to grow mould and mould grows because the food may have been lying somewhere for a very long time and also mould will grow when it lies in 1 place after a while when there is no space left for the air so the juice from that certain product goes all over the place in a certain time becoming 'mould' .

What Does Mold Need To Grow?

Mould need moisture, nutrition and a suitable place to grow. These three points are very important for growing mould.
